Alcuni commenti di piloti entusiasti del nuovo parapendio Gradient:
1) I have just done my first flights on the XC3 (132km and 109km) and I can realistically say that it is the best glider that i have ever flown. Despite the high aspect ratio, launching is effortless and handling is incredible.
The wing is beautifully coordinated and is equally able at carving out flat turns in weak lift and sitting in a high banked turn in strong stuff. The leading edge is stiffened with 'strimmer cord' and feels very stable, even flying at the bottom of the weight range I had no handling problems in rough air. The glide is amazing and fast at trim speed (40kph), the speed bar is light and useable. The wing is so reassuring that within 30 minutes I was thermalling with one hand taking photos and gliding at 1/3 bar with my hands off the brake handles. If you are ever thinking of giving up paragliding give this wing a go and rediscover the dream!
Ho appena fatto il mio primo volo sulla XC3 (132 km e 109 km) e realisticamente posso dire che è la vela migliore che io abbia mai volato. Nonostante l'alto allungamento, il decollo è facile e la maneggevolezza è incredibile. L'ala è ben coordinata ed è ugualmente in grado di girare piatto in deboli condizioni e in roba forte. Il bordo è irrigidito con cavo e si sente molto stabile, anche volando nella parte inferiore della gamma peso non ho avuto problemi di gestione nell'aria turbolenta. La planata è sorprendente e veloce alla velocità di trim (40kph), la speed bar è leggera ed utilizzabile. L'ala è così rassicurante che per 30 minuti ho termicato con una mano per fare foto e tirato a 1/3 bar senza impugnare i freni. Se pensate di rinunciare al parapendio con questa ala si riscopre il sogno!
2) One of my customers tested XC3 26 for several days in various conditions. His conclusions : - very easy to launch, nil or strong wind - amazing glide, amazing speed, amazing glide on bar - amazing handling - low brake pressure, fantastic turn, very precise - fantastic abilities to core the thermal and funny to fly - very easy to "survive" due to excellent min. sink - collapse-resistant, solid in turbulences if you pilot it. He didn't had any collapse during 3 days of strong conditions - more demanding than an XC2, a lot of energy, more lively. This guy also flew Omega 7, XC2, Mantra 3 and Boom GTO...
Uno dei miei clienti ha testato XC3 26 per diversi giorni in varie condizioni. Le sue conclusioni: - è molto facile in decollo, senza o con forte vento - planata incredibile, incredibile velocità, incredibile planata con speed - maneggevolezza sorprendente - freno con bassa pressione, fantastico da girare, molto preciso - fantastica capacità di centrare il cuore della termica e divertente di volo - molto facile "sopravvivere" in condizioni deboli per l’eccellente min T/C - resistente alle chiusure, solido in turbolenza se viene pilotata. Nessuna chiusura in 3 giorni di condizioni forti - più domanda del XC2, un sacco di energia, più ambizioso.Questo ragazzo ha volato anche Omega 7, XC2, 3 Mantra e boom GTO....
